How long are the Calixpert workouts?

Last updated: 11 April 2026

Most sessions run between 45 and 75 minutes including the warm-up. Beginner phase workouts tend to sit at the shorter end of that range, typically 45 to 60 minutes, because the volume is lower and you are still building work capacity. As you advance through the phases, sessions get longer as more sets and harder variations are added.

Deload weeks are shorter by design. Those sessions are meant to be lighter and quicker, usually around 30 to 40 minutes, because the goal is active recovery rather than maximum output.

If a session is consistently running much longer than 75 minutes, the most likely cause is rest periods. It is easy to underestimate how long two-minute rest periods add up across multiple exercises. Try to keep rest periods close to what the program prescribes rather than extending them.

If you are tight on time, do not skip the warm-up to make it fit. It is better to cut one working set from the end of the session than to train cold. Consistency over months matters far more than whether you hit every single set on a given day.
