How do I track my progress in the Calixpert programs?

Last updated: 11 April 2026

The primary progress marker in Calixpert programs is your max test result. At the end of each training block you test your maximum reps, and that number tells you objectively whether your strength has increased and whether you are ready to advance. Tracking your max test scores over time gives you a clear picture of how far you have come.

Beyond the max test, we recommend logging your sessions as you go. Note the exercises, sets, reps, and how the session felt. It does not need to be complicated - a notebook or a notes app on your phone works fine. Over time this log becomes a valuable record that shows you trends you would not notice day to day.

Many members also post progress updates in the community, which serves as a natural log and has the added benefit of accountability. Sharing a form video from week one and comparing it to week twelve is one of the most motivating things you can do.

Bodyweight and physical measurements are an option if those metrics matter to your goals, but we do not make them a focus of the programs. Strength and skill progress are the primary indicators here. A member who goes from zero pull-ups to ten is making enormous progress whether the scale moves or not.
