Is there a specific muscle-up program at Calixpert?

Yes. There is a dedicated muscle-up program inside the Classroom. It is a goal-specific program built around taking you from a solid pull-up base to your first clean muscle-up.

The program is not for beginners. Before starting the muscle-up program you need to be able to do a set of clean pull-ups with full range of motion and have good body tension and control at the top of the bar. If you are still working toward your first pull-up, that is the foundation to build first.

The muscle-up program works on explosive pulling power, the transition phase which is the part most people struggle with, and the pushing strength needed to press out at the top. It breaks the movement down into its components so you develop each one before putting it together.

If you are unsure whether your current level is ready for the muscle-up program, post in the community with a video of your pull-ups and we will give you an honest assessment. Jumping into it too early is one of the most common ways people stall on this skill.
